Just thought of writing about Indian National Elections 2009... thatz the way!! We have seen a kind of generational change from the age old posters and wall painting to the new age of blogspace and webpages... thatz what we call it as NextGen!! The US Elections 2008 had shown a young leader who is more tech savvy attracting the youngsters with his ideologies...
This is the season for the Indian General elections... this time the national parties have developed interest in attracting the young population, which they estimate to form around 100 million (between 18-24 years) typically called as first time voters...
I have found a blog site for the BJP prime minister candidate, Mr. LK Advani, looks interesting... check this out, http://blog.lkadvani.in/ and this made me to dig into this...
Also read some facts about Advani, he has become tech savvy carrying the latest tech gadgets like i-phone... but still we can always have a debate in continuing with the elderly prime ministerial candidate in our country... every party wants to get a bit of vote share from the first time voters, which will be very decisive??
The other big national party Indian National Congress is giving bet on its Economic hero, our own PM for the next time...however the party's general secretary Mr. Rahul Gandhi, has always been youth savvy and is a frequent visitor to various colleges in our country... In fact he has become a favorite among the young women voter and also been a model for them...
WoW!! the latest hit from Slumdog millionaire and the universal favorite 'JAI HO!!' has become the title song of congress!! the party has got the copyright for that!! what a change in our system of politics...
In fact Our country is proud to have a CM, in fact the youngest I have ever heard, who is taking care of our beautiful land of north India and also battle field for the neighbours, who else its our own 38 year old CM of Jammu & Kashmir, Mr. Omar Abdullah... hope he will bring in the lost pride to our own land....
The youth in our country should be participating and the parties should be more Youngistan kind.... This is the way our entire system of politics can be changed which needs lot of initiatives by our good old national parties like Indian National Congress and BJP...
Our great elderly leaders show give way to our young people and this would be a real test to our Indian Politics... This we may not see in this year of elections, but if we sow the seeds in this year, probably this could reap benefits in the coming years...

A start of new era!!! Oscars 2009
Countdown Starts!!!
The Oscar countdown has already started way ahead for the entire Slumdog millionaire team... the team has won the top awards where ever they go!! The film has bought laurels to our own ARR, the genius in us... We do know only a few people who have proved like this for our country...
My list includes... the greatest personalities, I have seen in my lifetime... what a talent to be?
our own Sachin TENdulkar.... the evergreen star contributing to cricket since we all know cricket... tremendous... what an effort this guy has done? Still I do remember so many arguments about Sachin – A real genius!!!
Then the other one... the one and only AR Rahman, who has gone miles and miles to the top from the start of ROJA... he is a gem in everyone's pocket!! what a kind of change in Indian cinema... he deserves to be awarded... who else deserves it!! this will be the D-day for the billions of people in India...
Huge fanfare!! Huge followings... May the dream come true for the nation!! ARR getting the coveted OSCARS... What a day it will be? 23rd Feb 2009 - A day to remember in India... keep your finger crossed!!!
Music has no barriers... no hurdles.... no compromise.... no boundaries... Itz Eternal!! Bliss!! God in us!! What this will be an end in itself?? OSCARS - this won’t be the end of the awards for ARR, this could be the start of the another era for this little master..

End of Satyam...
End of Satyam (The name itself becoming worthless)....
It is one of the bad days in India's corporate side, really socked to hear the statement from the Chairman of Satyam Computers... he had inflated the financial numbers to cook up the cash in the company... It was a clear case of mismanagement and also the worstever corporate governance we have seen in our times...
Whatz the impact?? This will create a fiasco for the 53,000 employees and their families... Hope something will come out pretty soon and any other good companies like TCS, Cognizant.... etc could take over the company and run the business fresh... This will be huge responsibility for the Indian Government and also the entire IT field.
Foreign Investments will be a major hindrance in the coming days, mainly into the Indian IT Sector... What a change we have seen in our lifes with the entry of IT in our country... How come this sudden change of events... I was surprised to read the email of Satyam's Chairman, he has done one of the greatest sin by taking the life of all the associates...
Whatever done will be infact create a bad mark to the entire Indian system of corporate goverance and auditing... Rest leave all this and we should probably do educate our people about the older, traditional value of Indian morals and ethics... This should be a key going forward in taking the next generation towards better and ethical one...
Hope tomorrow may not give a positive surprise to all of us... Things would get going smoothly and probably a better one in the long run of the Indian system...

Looking ahead - 2009
Looking ahead with lots of hope and becoming smart enough to hold on...
Last year we have seen Jaggy emerging as a leader in our group... It has been a great change... We have to make a clear mention of this guy... he is developing as a great leader in taking more responsibilities in life... he will our future CEO
Saro and Kassi will get their personal issues solved and get married soon... all our parents will do understand us and will be always with us... this will be great year for both of you.. these two ppl will be the key drivers for our group.
Kalyan anna, Jraj and Bafee will be a proud fathers in this year... this will give them a wonderful period of life and enjoyment... We will also get new additions to our group... they are the silent spectators of our group...
Aru and Mappillai, the cornerstones of our group... they will also get married and have a great year ahead... lots of cooking tips we have to get from Mappillai... For Aru mama, he will be having a great companion for his pulsar...
Koushik, Seeva and Saju.... they are the kind of trendsetters in our group... love to be cool and composed and have a great thought to move in life... will have a great year ahead in their roles...
Worrying thing is the drying down of emails in the last week... expecting this shouldnt happen in the next year... I thought of writing this email for the last three days... finally able to spend some 2 hours in my longest email of my life....
Nice to share my thoughts with you... The year 2009 will be a great year for us... We will develop the skills in each and every field they are into, become a specialist and lets work for a goal to start up a new venture by 2012...
Lets think on this regard.... We can do it.... I will be a part of this emerging team...

The year 2008 started with bang for the entertainment industry with Rajini signing in for Sankar's Robot... It also started with an accident in Savera's new year party... Global financial markets has started its downward trend starting by end of Jan... the month ended with the new video releases (Live Love Dance) from Seeva... what a talent is he?
Feb
This month had the special marriage of Bafee, that was a great one with too much fanfare (all India Vijay fans) in Dharmapuri... The great change in his life... Saju, Aru, Mappillai and myself went for the marriage... but not able to spend much time with Bafee... Jaggy, Saro and others had missed that... The famous 'FEB 14' email came from jaggy (memorable one)...
Tamil Movie Ajanthae has got great response from the crowd... Great series win for Indians in Australia... Seeva and Vinod's marriage plans got finalised in this month too...

Month started off with the birthdays of Araj, Saju and Bafeee... To our surprise, Saro was back to India in the mid of the month... Lots of weekend updates came from jaggy... The month ended of with a bang by Sehwag's 309 against SA in Chennai... what a superb knock? Then the schedule for IPL also came by...

The month started with Superstar blasting out the Kannada's politicians towards the Cauvery issue.. ended off with Jaggy veedu Grahaprevesham... We also go settled in our new apartment in Royapuram... We also had birthdays of Myself and Seeva... Charu came back to Chennai after four months...
May
Myself and Charu celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary.. Seeva got engaged in this month... Chennai team lost in the IPL finals... Infact Jaggy had a great say towards Dhoni's captaincy in this month...
June
This is a special month for Jeyaraj... yep, its his marriage!! Everyone went for his marriage in Kovilpatti... myself and charu went for the reception in Chennai... This month saw the greatest movie release of this month, Kamal's 'Dasavatharam'... Overhelming responce from the crowd and also an extensive critics and analysis by our group lead by jaggy...
July
This is another marriage, this time its our Vinod getting married with Nirmala... We also had Koushik, Angu and Srinidhi joining us after a long gap... Saro appa & amma, Kassi family and all our friends made a short visit to our house... Greatest moment of my life happened - The birth of our cute Shibani on 18 July... WOW what a feeling... still my eyes are remembering the first day...
We also had the greatest ever match in Wimbledon history...!!! the release of AR Rahman's music in Sakkarakatti....

We had our kutti's naming ceremony on the Independence day... nice to see all you in the function except bafee... The month to remember for Olympics... Abinav Bindra has won the first ever gold for India.. Many ppl like Saina, others came pretty close to take medals... Hope this will be a trendsetter for future ones...

We had Seeva's marriage in this month... it was a grand function in Rani Meyaimmai hall... September was a bad one for the financial markets led by collapse of Lehman Brothers... Equity markets globally had a great fall in this month... Some signs of recession showing in all our faces...

I moved to Muscat, Oman in joining Equity Research in GCC markets... US in recession, slowdown in IT spending... This month also saw Tendulkar breaking Lara's record... What a moment for this guy?? he will let down all the records tumbling... This is the first Diwali where I was alone in office...

Then came the issue of the year 'Overseas Guys' why they are not participating in various discussion of M&M...
